Please note

RPL application does not automatically confer eligibility for a right to either RPL or a place on a GP Training Programme nor will it have an effect on your scheme preference. RPL offers will be made on the basis of training schemes, ability to accommodate RPL and candidate rank. Please note that all RPL decisions are final and are not open to appeal.

The Irish College of GPs can facilitate an adaptation period (RPL Catch-Up Course) and increased minimum attendance at day release to compensate for day release content missed by the candidate. Engagement with this adaptation is mandatory for RPL trainees.

The Irish College of GPs reserves the right to revert back to the applicant should further information be required.
